FULL TIMEREMOTESENIOR LEVELPEOPLE & OPS

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Microsoft 365 Consultant based in the United States.

The Lead Microsoft 365 Consultant will lead strategic consulting engagements focused on Microsoft 365, with SharePoint Online at the center of modern workplace and collaboration solutions. Combining deep technical expertise with strong client advisory skills, this role oversees engagements from discovery and solution design through implementation, migration, and adoption. The consultant will help organizations strengthen information architecture, governance, security, and business process automation while assessing their readiness to adopt AI-powered tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, the role also contributes to pre-sales, develops repeatable service offerings, and identifies opportunities for ongoing project and managed services. This is an opportunity to help establish and scale a US-based Microsoft 365 consulting practice while mentoring technical teams and shaping high-quality delivery standards.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 consulting engagements, from client discovery and solution design through implementation, delivery, and handover.

    • Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and advise clients on modern workplace strategy and collaboration solutions.

    • Design and deliver SharePoint Online intranets, document management systems, and collaboration environments, including information architecture, metadata, and permissions models.

    • Develop Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions to extend SharePoint capabilities and automate business processes.

    • Advise on Microsoft Teams and Power Platform governance, including provisioning, lifecycle management, and data loss prevention policies.

    • Conduct Microsoft 365 and file server audits to assess content, permissions, and migration readiness.

    • Deliver AI readiness assessments across Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID, identifying identity, access, and oversharing risks, and provide prioritized recommendations.

    • Plan and lead migrations into and within Microsoft 365, including file server, cloud, and tenant-to-tenant migrations.

    • Define governance frameworks covering site provisioning, ownership, retention, lifecycle management, information protection, and compliance using Microsoft Purview.

    • Lead user adoption, training, and change management initiatives to encourage sustained use of Microsoft 365 solutions.

    • Own technical pre-sales activities, including solution design, scoping, statements of work, workshops, and proposals.

    • Help establish and grow a scalable Microsoft 365 and SharePoint consulting practice in the US, developing repeatable offerings, delivery methodologies, and sales enablement materials.

    • Mentor consultants and engineers through coaching, technical reviews, and knowledge sharing, while staying current with the Microsoft 365 roadmap, Copilot, and emerging AI capabilities.

    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

      • At least 7 years of experience in Microsoft 365 consulting or solution architecture, including substantial hands-on SharePoint delivery.

      • Advanced expertise in SharePoint Online information architecture, site design, permissions, and collaboration solutions.

      • Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID.

      • Proven experience leading migrations and conducting audits using tools such as ShareGate, AvePoint, and TreeSize.

      • Practical experience developing Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions integrated with SharePoint.

      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview, information protection, compliance, and AI readiness, including Microsoft 365 Copilot.

      • Demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales, solution scoping, proposal development, and client workshop facilitation.

      • Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.

      • Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Administrator or Power Platform certifications, are required or must be completed; equivalent experience may also be considered.

      • Proven ability to mentor technical colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to the development of consulting capabilities and delivery standards.

      • Benefits:

        • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

        • 401(k) retirement plan.

        • At least four weeks of paid time off.

        • Birthday PTO.

        • Paid holidays.

        • Paid time off for volunteering.

        • Short-term and long-term disability insurance.
