The successful candidate will teach introductory Speech Communication courses, including Dual Credit/Early College High School (DC/ECHS) classes. The base teaching load at A&M-SA is 5/5. Summer teaching assignments may be available but are not guaranteed. Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications. Required Education and Experience: PhD or Master's in Communication Studies/Speech Communication or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution by the time of appointment. Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Communication/Speech. University teaching experience in Public Speaking or closely related course(s) commensurate with the rank of Lecturer. Availability to teach in-person classes. Availability to teach DC/ECHS students at the Texas A&M-San Antonio campus and/or local high school campuses.
