Job Title: Commercial Intelligence Specialist Location: Houston Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Power BI Development – Design, development, and optimisation of advanced dashboards, reports, and models within Power BI, ensuring usability and scalability across the business. This includes local desktop development as well as in the Power BI / Fabric service. SQL & Data Modelling – Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to support analytics and reporting requirements. Cross-functional collaboration – Working with a variety of stakeholders and seniority levels to understand business problems and provide solutions through interactive self-service reports. Issue Resolution – Identify root cause of technical issues and responding to queries in a timely manner, including supporting other teams ad-hoc where necessary. Continuous Improvement – Stay current with Microsoft BI & Fabric updates, recommending and implementing improvements to data workflows and reporting. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s STEM degree 3+ years of experience in analytics roles. Expertise in Power BI – advanced DAX, data modelling, performance optimization, and deployment. Strong SQL skills with ability to optimize. Microsoft Excel skills for ad-hoc analysis. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric a plus. Strong communication and presentation skills - able to work effectively with others. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and deliver measurable business impact. Strong attention to detail and a proactive nature. Competencies: Strategic Thinking – Capable of aligning technical solutions with commercial objectives.
