David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a family office managing a diverse portfolio of companies, that is seeking to onboard an Accountant to join its team on a full-time basis

The successful candidate is responsible for maintaining accounting records, preparing management accounts, handling VAT returns and performing regular financial reconciliations
Position: Accountant
Location: Limassol, Cyprus
Work model: On site
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accounting records for companies registered in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), Cyprus and the Marshall Islands
Prepare management accounts for BVI-registered companies
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Manage petty cash payments and ensure all transactions are properly documented
Carry out additional accounting duties and projects as assigned by management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant field
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Proficiency in SAP and CaseWare is essential
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent time-management and organisational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
