The Delivery Manager is a hands-on leader who combines operational expertise with a commitment to employee engagement and continuous improvement. This role oversees all aspects of delivery operations—including routing, fleet management, and personnel development—ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in product flow. While the Delivery Manager leads through others, they are expected to be actively engaged on the floor and in the field, supporting the team and solving problems alongside them when needed. This position requires someone who leads by example, develops talent, and drives performance across all facets of the operation. Job Description: Job Duties: Hire, train and manage all delivery driver personnel Manage delivery drivers in all aspects including customer service, accuracy and productivity Oversee driver scheduling to ensure timely delivery of product Coordinate all safety activities for Delivery staff Manage the efficiency of the delivery routes using routing software Interface with customers solving discrepancies, problems and creating a cohesive relationship Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, warehouse, delivery and customer service departments.
