Welcome to NewGen
We’re a global social and creator agency that exists to make brands iconic, standing at the forefront of culture, creators and community.
Founded by our 30 under 30 co founders, NewGen is an independent agency working with some of the world’s biggest brands including Pepsi, Samsung, SEGA and Cash App.
Privately owned and built to challenge the big networks and stale traditional agencies, we move fast and believe fresh ideas with the right culture capital can compete with anyone.
We’re setting the standards for the world’s most exciting brands and creators, so if you want to be part of something bigger and more ambitious than just another agency, this is the place to be.
This role is one of the first hires in the city, so you will help shape how the team works from day one.
The Role
We’re looking for an Influencer Executive to join our growing Influencer team. The Influencer Executive owns the creator side of our campaigns: finding the right talent, agreeing the deal, locking in the contract and making sure every deliverable lands on time and on brief. You will work across US and North American campaigns and be the person creators and their managers deal with day to day.
Creator outreach and sourcing
- Build and maintain creator shortlists against campaign briefs across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch and emerging platforms
- Reach out to creators and their managers, pitch the opportunity and secure interest quickly
- Keep our creator database current with rates, audience data, past performance and contact details
Negotiation
- Negotiate fees, usage rights, exclusivity and deliverables within campaign budgets
- Benchmark rates across markets and platforms so every deal is fair to the creator and good value for the client
- Flag risks early to the account team: creators going cold, rate gaps, scheduling clashes
Contracts
- Draft and issue creator agreements from NewGen templates and manage them through to signature
- Make sure every contract captures the agreed deliverables, deadlines, usage, exclusivity, disclosure and payment terms
- Work with the finance team on creator invoicing and payment schedules
Deliverables and content lock in
- Brief creators clearly and chase scripts, drafts and final content against the campaign timeline
- Review content before it goes live: on brief, on brand, correctly disclosed and compliant with FTC and Mexican advertising rules
- Lock in go-live dates and confirm content has posted as agreed
- Capture live links and screenshots and hand clean data to the reporting team
Campaign support
- Keep trackers, status reports and internal tools up to date so the account team always knows where every creator stands
- Join client calls where creator updates are needed
- Share what you learn about creators, formats and platforms with the wider agency
Office location & Days
- Mexico City-based: remote initially, with the move to the office in FY27
What You’ll Bring
Essentials
- 1 to 3 years in an agency environment, ideally an influencer, creator, talent or social agency, with hands-on experience contracting creators
- A track record of negotiating creator deals and getting contracts signed on time
- Confident managing multiple campaigns and deadlines at once without letting details slip
- Fluent Spanish and English, comfortable negotiating and writing contracts in both
- A working knowledge of creator culture across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Twitch in Mexico, LatAm and the US
- Organised, proactive and comfortable chasing people politely but persistently
Nice to have
- Experience with gaming, entertainment or sport campaigns
- Experience working with teams in other time zones
What we offer
- Work on live campaigns for global gaming, entertainment and consumer brands alongside our New York, London, Manchester and Paris teams
- Competitive day rate or monthly fee for the 2 month term
- A clear route to a permanent Influencer Executive role as the Mexico City office grows
- Training and support from our US and UK influencer teams throughout
Interview process
We keep it to four stages and aim to complete the process within three weeks.
- Experience interview (45 to 60 mins, video) with the Influencer Lead and a member of the US account team. We go deep on campaigns you have worked on: how you found creators, how you negotiated, what went wrong and how you fixed it.
- Task (take home, 2 to 3 hours) based on a real NewGen brief. You shortlist creators, propose rates and deliverables, and draft the key contract terms. We discuss it together in a 45 minute session and ask how you would handle a creator pushing back.
- Final conversation (30 mins). Values, ambition, and any questions you have for us.
We give feedback after every stage and will tell you where you stand within two working days.
