Position Overview
The Medical Assistant – Clinical (MA-C) is responsible for ensuring clinical readiness and provider efficiency. This role directly supports patient care by preparing patients, maintaining accurate clinical information, and enabling providers to operate at peak performance.
Core Responsibilities
Patient Preparation
- Room patients and obtain vitals
- Prepare charts and ensure all required information is available
- Confirm reason for visit and update patient history
Clinical Workflow Support
- Assist providers with documentation and patient flow
- Ensure all clinical tasks are completed prior to provider interaction
- Maintain exam room readiness and organization
Coordination & Accuracy
- Communicate patient needs and updates to providers
- Ensure accuracy of clinical data and documentation inputs
Performance Expectations
