Job Description & Requirements Russia Market Drive leisure, wholesale and luxury travel agency sales from Russia, with clear production targets per account. Develop and manage strategic relationships with leading Russian tour operators, luxury travel agencies and travel advisors. Plan and execute market activity including sales missions, roadshows, trade fairs agent training and client events. Maximise production during key Russian travel periods such as the New Year holidays and the May holidays and promote longer stays and family travel. Ensure Russian language sales materials are available, and that guest preferences are communicated to Operations. Ensure all contracting and payment arrangements comply with company policy and applicable regulations, working closely with Finance. Middle East Market Development Prepare a Middle East market entry plan, including target countries, segments, partners, activity calendar and revenue targets, for approval by the Director of Sales & Marketing. Identify, contact and activate luxury travel agencies, tour operators, concierge and VIP travel services, and corporate travel desks across the GCC. Represent the resort at key regional events. Position the resort for Middle East traveller priorities such as privacy, multi-bedroom and family villas, halal dining, and travel around Eid and the summer school holidays, using GCC demand to support need periods. Work with airline partners serving the Maldives from the Gulf on joint promotions, and with Marketing on Arabic-language sales materials. Work with Operations to ensure the resort is ready for Middle East guests, including dining, prayer facilities and cultural service standards. Report regularly on market development progress, partner pipeline and conversion. Work together with both Russia and ME GSOs to maximise the ROI for the resort. General Sales Responsibilities Ensure that you fully understand the business strategy and positioning of the NH Collection brand, so that you are able to articulate this positioning effectively in the marketplace. Maintain up-to-date personal knowledge of NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort and its service offerings, the products, services, rates and new developments of key competitors, and general industry trends. Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to ensure optimal pricing, inventory control and market segmentation. Monitor competitor resorts and market trends to maintain strong positioning within the luxury Maldives segment. Approach personal sales activities from a strategic perspective, understanding the relative importance and priority of the current account base, and directing personal sales efforts accordingly. Continually review the actual production of each account against its potential, and review suggestions for improvement with department leadership. Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, action plans and performance reports aligned with resort revenue goals. Conduct site inspections and familiarisation trips, showcasing the resort’s villas, experiences, dining and sustainability initiatives. Coordinate with Marketing, Reservations and Operations to ensure seamless conversion and guest experience delivery. Liaise effectively with all operational colleagues, providing support and information to ensure accurate delivery of our promise. Drive opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Minor Hotels products. Practise effective cost control and adhere to internal procedures for the approval of expenditure. Maintain full working knowledge of the IT tools used in sales today, including the CRM and sales software, the property PMS and the Microsoft Office toolset, and keep all account records up to date. Ensure that all administration is processed quickly and efficiently. Achieve personal financial and non-financial performance objectives, working with department leadership to ensure these objectives are met. Take responsibility for your own professional development, ensuring that you have the financial literacy, negotiation and face-to-face selling skills needed to do your job successfully.
