This position focuses on developing, analyzing, and maintaining integrated schedules that align projects, milestones, and dependencies across multiple teams and initiatives.
Working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and leadership, you will transform operational requirements into clear, actionable scheduling plans.
You will use advanced analytical techniques and scheduling tools to assess program performance, identify risks, and improve execution efficiency.
The role also contributes to portfolio-level reporting, providing leadership with the visibility needed to make informed decisions.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced scheduling professional with an active Secret clearance and a strong background in program planning.

Accountabilities

    • Plan, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of program master schedules.

    • Apply advanced qualitative and quantitative techniques to assess program performance, efficiency, and productivity.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and internal teams to translate project activities into tasks, milestones, and dependencies across business units and initiatives.

    • Review business requirements and documentation from multiple sources to identify and resolve cross-initiative dependencies.

    • Ensure consistent scheduling methods and practices across enterprise or command-level programs.

    • Develop Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) queries, analyses, and reports to support operational and management teams.

    • Build and maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project, capturing key activities, durations, milestones, and dependencies.

    • Consolidate individual project schedules into portfolio-level views using Milestones Pro to provide leadership with clear visibility into program progress.

    • Support business development activities as needed, including technical interviews, technical documentation, proposal writing, and proposal reviews.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong program scheduling expertise with analytical capabilities and experience supporting complex government or national security environments. The following qualifications are required:

      • Active Secret security clearance.

      • Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience, or a high school diploma with at least 13 years of relevant experience.

      • Demonstrated experience using Milestones Pro.

      • Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated master schedules.

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and the ability to manage complex project activities, milestones, durations, and dependencies.

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to apply qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate program performance.

      • Ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, stakeholders, and leadership across multiple teams and initiatives.

      • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex and time-sensitive requirements.

      • Willingness to travel more than 10% of the time.

      • Ability to work for extended periods at a desk using a computer and lift up to 10–15 pounds when required.

      • Benefits

        • Annual salary range of $115,000–$125,000, with final compensation determined by relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
