We are seeking an accomplished executive leader to define and drive a company-wide technology, data, platform, and AI partnership strategy. In this high-impact role, you will build and manage a strategic ecosystem of technology providers, data partners, cloud platforms, and emerging AI innovators. You will identify opportunities that strengthen product differentiation, accelerate innovation, expand market reach, and create sustainable competitive advantages. Working closely with executive leadership, Product, Engineering, Legal, and commercial teams, you will influence critical investment decisions and determine where to build, buy, partner, or acquire new capabilities. You will lead complex strategic negotiations while ensuring partnerships translate into tangible product development and measurable business outcomes. This is an opportunity to shape the future of enterprise technology ecosystems and establish a scalable global partnerships function.

Accountabilities:

  • Define and lead the organization's overall strategy for technology, data, platform, integration, and AI partnerships, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and product innovation priorities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-impact partnership opportunities that strengthen product differentiation, accelerate innovation, expand distribution, and support sustainable business growth.
  • Build and maintain trusted executive-level relationships with strategic technology platforms, data providers, cloud infrastructure companies, and emerging AI ecosystem leaders.
  • Originate, structure, negotiate, and manage complex, multi-year strategic agreements covering product scope, data rights, intellectual property, commercial models, investments, exclusivity arrangements, and governance frameworks.
  • Shape the external data strategy by identifying opportunities to improve data coverage, quality, identity resolution, signals, licensing arrangements, and differentiated data products.
  • Influence product and platform strategy by bringing external ecosystem insights, emerging technologies, and market intelligence into strategic planning and investment decisions.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to translate strategic agreements into funded roadmaps, clear delivery ownership, successful product launches, and measurable customer adoption.
  • Assess strategic opportunities through a build, buy, partner, or acquire framework, helping leadership determine the most effective approach to developing new capabilities and strengthening the technology ecosystem.
  • Establish partnership portfolio governance, performance indicators, reporting frameworks, and operating processes to measure strategic, commercial, and product impact.
  • Develop a scalable partnership operating model, ensuring effective collaboration across executive leadership, Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and commercial teams.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing senior partnerships organization with the capabilities required to support global strategic priorities.
  • Assess the existing partnership portfolio, market landscape, organizational capabilities, strategic gaps, and current commitments to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop an executive-level partnership strategy within the first 90 days, defining priority opportunities, investment decisions, executive sponsors, and Product and R&D commitments.
  • Deliver meaningful progress within the first six months through strategic agreements that include clear product development plans and measurable business objectives.
  • Establish a focused and scalable partnership portfolio within the first year, generating measurable improvements in product adoption, distribution, differentiation, and commercial performance.
  • Requirements:

  • Extensive executive-level experience building, leading, or significantly scaling technology, platform, product, or data partnership organizations.
  • Demonstrated success defining and executing enterprise-wide ecosystem strategies that generate measurable business value, product innovation, and sustainable competitive advantages.
  • Strong technical understanding of modern enterprise technology ecosystems, including software architecture, APIs, data infrastructure, identity solutions, security, privacy, and AI technologies.
  • Proven experience originating, structuring, and negotiating sophisticated strategic partnerships, including multi-year agreements, data licensing arrangements, intellectual property rights, commercial models, investments, and joint product development initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of partnership economics, commercialization strategies, strategic investment decisions, and the financial implications of complex technology agreements.
  • Ability to evaluate strategic opportunities and make informed recommendations regarding whether to build, buy, partner, or potentially acquire new technologies and capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience shaping external data strategies, including data coverage, quality, identity resolution, signals, licensing, and the development of differentiated data products.
  • Practical understanding of how artificial intelligence, AI agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) are transforming enterprise software ecosystems and creating new partnership opportunities.
  • Proven ability to influence product and platform direction by translating external market developments and partnership opportunities into actionable technology and business strategies.
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at C-suite level and align senior stakeholders around complex strategic decisions.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience, particularly working with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Legal, Finance, and executive teams.
  • Experience establishing partnership governance frameworks, operating models, performance metrics, and scalable organizational structures.
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, with the ability to operate in ambiguous environments, identify emerging opportunities, and turn complex ideas into practical business initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities, including experience recruiting, developing, and managing senior-level talent within globally distributed teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a strong focus on accountability, measurable outcomes, and long-term value creation.
  • Benefits:

  • Annual base salary: $195,000–$270,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
  • Additional compensation: Potential eligibility for performance-based bonuses or commission plans and stock options, subject to applicable company approval and compensation policies.
