Account Executive.

FULL TIMEREMOTESALES & MARKETING

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive based in the United States.

Drive profitable growth for an established metal stamping and fabrication business by developing new customer relationships and expanding existing accounts. As an individual contributor, you will own the full business development cycle, from identifying opportunities and building a qualified pipeline to negotiating agreements and supporting program launches. You will work with OEMs and Tier suppliers, engaging executive, engineering, procurement, and operations stakeholders. Your technical sales expertise will help customers identify manufacturing solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and total cost. Working closely with internal engineering, estimating, operations, and finance teams, you will develop competitive proposals and deliver commercially sound solutions. This remote opportunity is suited to a results-driven sales professional with strong manufacturing industry knowledge and a consistent record of exceeding targets.

Accountabilities

You will lead new-business development and account growth across assigned markets, managing complex sales opportunities while ensuring revenue and gross-margin objectives are achieved. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Own and exceed annual new-business revenue and gross-margin targets.

    • Develop and execute account, territory, and market strategies to support sustainable, profitable growth.

    • Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.

    • Identify upcoming customer projects and capital investments early in the purchasing and decision-making process.

    • Manage the complete sales cycle, including discovery, requests for quotation (RFQs), proposals, negotiations, contract awards, and program launches.

    • Establish and strengthen relationships with customer executives, engineering teams, sourcing leaders, procurement professionals, and other key decision-makers.

    • Expand existing accounts by identifying additional programs, projects, and manufacturing opportunities.

    • Present and promote manufacturing capabilities, including laser cutting, press brake forming, metal stamping, welding, assembly, and related services.

    • Collaborate with estimating, engineering, operations, and finance teams to develop competitive pricing and practical manufacturing solutions.

    • Apply value-based selling techniques to help customers optimize manufacturability, material selection, processing methods, inventory, and total cost.

    • Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer interactions, pipeline stages, sales forecasts, and next steps.

    • Monitor market developments, customer needs, and competitive activity, sharing relevant intelligence to support business decisions.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate combines proven B2B sales performance with technical knowledge of metal fabrication and contract manufacturing. You should be comfortable managing complex commercial opportunities independently while building relationships across multiple levels of customer organizations. Required qualifications include:

      • At least 5 years of B2B business development or technical sales experience in metal fabrication, stamping, or contract manufacturing.

      • At least 3 years of experience selling manufacturing capabilities such as laser cutting, forming, stamping, welding, or assembly.

      • A consistent track record of achieving or exceeding new-business revenue and gross-margin quotas.

      • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales opportunities from initial prospecting through production launch.

      • Strong understanding of RFQs, manufacturing costs, pricing structures, profit margins, and commercial negotiations.

      • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with executive leaders, engineering teams, procurement stakeholders, and operations professionals.

      • Experience using CRM platforms for account management, pipeline tracking, and sales forecasting.

      • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.

      • A self-directed, proactive, and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently in a remote individual-contributor role.

      • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

      • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience will also be considered.

      • Candidates based in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, or Wisconsin are preferred.

      • Benefits

        • Full-time employment opportunity.

        • Remote work arrangement.

        • Opportunity to drive new-business growth and manage strategic customer relationships.

        • Exposure to OEM and Tier-level customers across the manufacturing sector.

        • Opportunity to work with cross-functional teams spanning engineering, estimating, operations, and finance.

        • A commercially focused role with ownership of sales strategy, pipeline development, and revenue performance.
