Oncology at Union offers advanced cancer care, including screening and detection services for common cancers like breast, colon, skin, and prostate. Infusion Therapy Center providing chemotherapy, biotherapy, IV antibiotics, blood transfusions, and therapeutic injections. Cancer Resource Center offering education and volunteer support throughout treatment. Our programs are staffed by oncology-certified nurses, with infusion center nurses additionally certified in chemotherapy and biotherapy. Duties / Responsibilities: The Medical Assistant I greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. They manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access. Position Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED required.
