Position Highlights: Position: Vascular Technologist, PRN Location: Glenbrook Hospital PRN - As Needed Hours: 7a - 5:30p M-Sat shifts What you will do: Independently perform vascular ultrasound testing, including arterial, venous, carotid, transcranial and abdominal vascular studies. Communicate abnormal or positive findings promptly to providers and maintain accurate documentation. Coordinate daily vascular lab schedules and collaborate with nursing units and physician offices. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout testing and respond appropriately to emergencies. Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment and support department operations, staff training and accreditation activities. What you will need: License: None specified. Education: Completion of a 2-year ultrasound program. Certification: Certified Vascular Technologist (RVT). New graduates must obtain ARDMS or CCI certification within 1 year. Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience highly preferred. Ability to independently perform arterial, venous and carotid imaging preferred.
