Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant SLPA Pay Range: $35-$45/hourly Job Description: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Full Time | Issaquah, WA | 2026–2027 School Year Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based assignment in Issaquah, Washington, starting ASAP through January 2027. Work alongside a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students build communication skills that support learning, confidence, and connection! Job Highlights: Location: Issaquah, WA Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Schedule: Full-time Setting: School-based Start Date: ASAP End Date: January 2027 Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language services under the direction and supervision of an SLP Implement therapy activities and interventions outlined by the supervising SLP Support students’ progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Collect data and maintain accurate service documentation Prepare and organize therapy materials Communicate student progress and observations to the supervising SLP Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ communication needs Maintain student confidentiality and follow district procedures Qualifications: Active Washington State Department of Health SLPA license Completion of an SLPA program or a bachelor’s degree in a related field Completion of 100 clinical hours School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to follow treatment plans and guidance from the supervising SLP Availability to begin ASAP and work full-time through early January 2027 Ability to complete required district onboarding and background checks Benefits: Paid Sick Leave Healthcare Benefits* 401(k) with company matching W-2 employment with general and professional liability insurance Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and other professional expenses Mileage reimbursement at IRS rate between school sites Referral bonuses No non-compete clauses Paid time off for volunteer work and donation matching* Benefits apply to 0.8 FTE and above, following a short waiting period.
