  • Monitor compliance with company procedures, client requirements and relevant UK health and safety legislation.
  • Stop lifting operations immediately where unsafe conditions or unsafe behaviours are identified.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all lifting operations on site, ensuring effective communication between the lifting team, site management and project stakeholders.
  • Adapt lifting plans where required in response to changing site conditions while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.
  • Support investigations into lifting incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.

Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities

  • Work as an integral member of the Outage Team, promoting a positive safety culture across all activities.
  • Lead safety initiatives relating to lifting operations and contribute to wider site HS&E objectives.
  • Assist with accident and incident investigations and implement appropriate preventative measures.
  • Coordinate End of Outage HS&E reports, project close-out reviews and lessons learned activities, providing recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Provide feedback and continuous improvement recommendations to Field Service and Programme Management teams.
  • Attend internal and external meetings as required to support the organisation's Health, Safety and Environmental commitments.
