Unloading inbound and loading outbound P&D trailers. Document overages, shortages, and damages on a handheld device. Reweigh and cube freight as required, and keep the yard and warehouse clean. Responsible for claim-free movement and sorting of freight. Heavy lifting required. Ability to safely follow Health & Safety and Company policies. Use a computer to set up first delivery loads of each day.
Monday to Friday, 10 pm - 6 am, with the flexibility to meet freight demands.
- Must work well independently and, at times, with others
- Must be a self-starter and be able to take direction at times
- Be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have forklift experience
- Computer and handheld device experience are assets.
- Must be able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Able to solve problems when they arise
