Job Description: The Role As a member of the Fidelity’s Legal, Risk, and Compliance (LRC) organization, you will be working closely with groups in Enterprise Compliance and Legal functions to identify opportunities where data can provide insight. You will participate in all phases of a data analytics project lifecycle – from framing the business question, identifying the appropriate data sources, sourcing the relevant data, performing complex analytics, and reporting on the results. You will use data to answer ad-hoc questions and develop data-centric solutions that will be deployed to users throughout LRC. Experience building and querying relational databases and/or other big data environments leveraging languages such as SQL, R, and Python. Proven analytical/problem-solving skills to provide solutions to complex problems Able to decompose and analyze complex use cases. Ability to work independently as well as with a team across geographical areas as needed. The Expertise and Skills You Bring To excel in this role, robust experience working with relation databases and other big data environments leveraging SQL and other tools like Python will be sought after. Candidates who enjoy solving tough questions and taking on assignments that will require them to learn as they go and ask for help when needed will find this role exciting and rewarding. You also enjoy telling stories with data using reporting tool such as Tableau or Power BI.
