The Old Saloon is looking for a friendly and customer-oriented Restaurant Server to join our exceptional dining team. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer any questions guests may have.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale software.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Process payments and handle guest transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine pairings, is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
