We are looking for a risk professional who will play an active role in XTB’s Enterprise Risk Management processes, supporting the identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of risks across the organisation.
The role combines methodology development with hands-on execution. You will work closely with business and support functions, challenge risk assessments, improve management information and help embed a consistent and practical approach to risk management across XTB.
Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Risk Management framework, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
- Monitor exposures against the Risk Appetite Framework, track KRIs and metrics, and assist in keeping statements and limits up to date.
- Run and coordinate RCSA processes across business units, helping process owners identify risks, evaluate control effectiveness, and track remediation plans.
- Prepare regular risk dashboards, reports, and presentation materials for management and risk committees.
- Maintain and support the optimization of internal risk tools and systems to streamline reporting and assessment workflows.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of practical experience in Operational Risk, ERM, or a related 2nd line risk role within financial services or a regulated industry.
- Practical experience in running operational risk processes (e.g., RCSA, risk registers, control testing) and a proactive mindset toward improving workflows.
- Hands-on experience with risk identification, control assessment, and tracking key risk indicators (KRIs).
- Solid understanding of Risk Appetite concepts and experience in monitoring KRI metrics.
- Experience in preparing clear risk reports and dashboards with strong analytical skills to spot trends.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders across the organization.
- Fluent English and very good (B2) Polish
