The Loan Partner II works closely with a Loan Originator and the operations team to provide exceptional support throughout the mortgage process. Qualifications include: Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing. Minimum of 2–3 years of mortgage industry experience, preferably in loan origination, processing, or loan support. Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting requirements, investor guidelines, and regulatory compliance. Experience reviewing borrower income, assets, credit, and other documentation used in mortgage qualification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple active loan files and meet time-sensitive deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues before they impact the transaction. Professional, positive, and service-oriented approach when working with borrowers and referral partners. Proficiency with loan origination systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft 365, and other mortgage-related technology. High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred. Who Will Succeed in This Role: You’ll be a great fit if you enjoy the combination of mortgage operations and relationship building. You are someone who takes ownership, follows through, communicates proactively, and understands that a successful mortgage experience depends on both accuracy behind the scenes and excellent communication with the people involved. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where priorities can change quickly, and deadlines matter.
