The Software Architect works with Product, Engineering, Security and other stakeholders to make and document technical design decisions, assess solution options and guide engineering teams during implementation. The role remains technically hands-on through prototypes, proof-of-concepts and reference implementations while supporting strong software architecture and engineering practices.
