Number of Positions In Requisition 1 Job Details The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Gastroenterologist to join our growing team at Jefferson Health in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.This opportunity offers a combination of clinical practice, academic involvement, and teaching within a nationally recognized academic health system. The selected candidate will be eligible for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Job Description Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Evaluate and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal and hepatologic conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to clinical quality improvement, academic initiatives, and scholarly activities as appropriate. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship. Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology. Eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
