Job Description: Vendor Verification Specialist This job is responsible for an independent verification of vendor master data changes of critical fields (e.g. vendor name and bank account) via call backs to impacted vendors before the master data changes are released into SAP. Evidence of the verification is retained. This activity also includes internal and external audit support and supporting CVT Manager in driving Continuous Improvement, team’s priority setting, team and project management. Operational Responsibilities – Vendor Data Maintenance: Take primary responsibility for verification Vendor Master Data Act as central point of contact for all requests regarding vendor verification/audit Continuous cooperation with Vendors on Vendor Master Data accuracy Assuring all documentation is provided to Legal and intercompany requirement`s Provide ad-hoc assistance to users in understanding vendor data systems and processes Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the systems and related processes used in order to drive effectiveness in this area Support the production and publishing metrics each period Support Manager: Driving projects Optimizing processes Onboarding new employees Governance & Communication Responsibilities: Serve as Subject Matter Expert Vendor Master Data and Vendor Documentation Produce metrics and KPIs as defined in Service Catalogue Own the Commercial Scorecard for their area of responsibility and ensure it is up to date each period Support transitions of new businesses and regions Support internal and external audit requests Education & Professional Qualification: University degree preferred Fluent English written and spoken is mandatory Other European language skills desired Strong proficiency in MS Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Project or Business Management Skills is desired Support North America time zone Knowledge/Experience: Knowledge of, and experience in, core P2P/ VM functional competencies Good communication and interpersonal skills Problem solving skills Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to organize workload Ability to analyze data and assess information quickly Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative Excellent attention to detail Mars is a family-owned business with more than $35 billion in global sales.
