Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are: Lead automation and manufacturing engineering projects from concept to implementation. Develop project plans and ensure timely delivery of key milestones. Define production line layouts, workstations, and process sequences. Create engineering specifications and requirements using DOORS. Coordinate suppliers, manage quotations, and support purchasing activities. Define supplier work packages and oversee execution and delivery. Analyze and optimize cycle times to improve manufacturing efficiency. Test and validate software modifications and new automation concepts. Support installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of production lines. Design and maintain industrial networks using EtherNet/IP and PROFINET. Configure and integrate new hardware, controls, and automation equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to global manufacturing plants. Act as a subject matter expert for AME teams and new engineering projects. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and productivity. Develop and enhance LabVIEW applications for manufacturing and testing systems. Program and support CAN/LIN communication functionality for new projects. Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver project objectives What Do We Expect From You: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Proven experience in automotive manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering. Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills. Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management tools. Knowledge of EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, CAN, and LIN communication protocols. Hands-on experience with LabVIEW programming and software testing. Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with JSON structures. Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control systems. Knowledge of C and/or C++ is an advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
