This position reports to: HSE Specialist __ Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: Onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in Apodaca, Nuevo León. You will be mainly accountable for: Support health, safety, and environmental improvement projects within the plant. Help monitor safety performance, identify potential risks, and follow up on improvement actions. Participate in the implementation of safety and environmental initiatives for new production lines and projects. Support the preparation of training materials and communication activities related to workplace safety and environmental awareness. Assist in maintaining HSE management systems and supporting compliance with ISO standards. Organize and participate in internal campaigns to promote a strong safety culture. Support daily HSE activities and administrative tasks within the department. Our team dynamics (Optional) You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory) Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Sustainability Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Expected graduation date: November 2027 or later (at least one year remaining before graduation). Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. Basic knowledge of management systems and ISO standards is a plus. Proactive, organized, responsible, and willing to learn. Ability to work independently and collaborate with different teams.
