Welding & Assembly: Utilise MIG welding techniques to assemble, finish, and inspect various metal products. Design Reading: Interpret designs, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and precision in fabrication. Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products for structural soundness, quality, and adherence to design requirements. Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain workshop tools and machinery to ensure smooth operation and safety. Problem-Solving: Work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and fellow fabricators to troubleshoot design or fabrication challenges. Overtime: After 38 hours enhanced pay for overtime. Qualifications Experience: 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication, preferably in an industrial/Structural setting. Skills: Proficient in MIG welding, metal forming, cutting, and finishing techniques. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of metals, welding procedures, and fabrication tools. Attention to Detail: Ability to produce precise, high-quality work with minimal supervision. Safety Focused: Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety procedures related to fabrication and workshop environments.
