Sr. Product Designer.

FULL TIMEREMOTESENIOR LEVELDESIGN$130K–160K/YR

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Product Designer based in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Product Designer to shape intuitive, connected digital experiences across a growing SaaS platform. In this role, you will lead the design process from discovery and research through prototyping, development, and launch. You will simplify complex workflows and create seamless experiences across multiple products, including financial tools, management platforms, messaging, and web applications. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers, you will influence product strategy and ensure user needs remain central to decision-making. You will also contribute to the evolution of shared design systems, explore AI-powered tools, and mentor other designers. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a fully remote, collaborative technology team.

Accountabilities

    • Lead end-to-end product design initiatives, from initial discovery and user research to journey mapping, user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready interfaces.

    • Shape the evolution of an integrated digital platform by creating seamless and consistent experiences across giving solutions, church management, messaging, and website tools.

    • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to identify user needs, define problems, explore solutions, and balance design decisions with business objectives and technical constraints.

    • Work with design leadership to prioritize initiatives and coordinate design efforts across multiple related product areas.

    • Plan and conduct customer interviews, usability testing, and qualitative research in partnership with Customer Experience teams, translating insights into actionable product improvements.

    • Simplify complex, multi-step workflows and ensure products remain intuitive, accessible, and easy to use for different user groups.

    • Contribute to and evolve shared design systems, reusable components, and UX patterns to maintain consistency across web and mobile experiences.

    • Leverage AI-powered tools and rapid prototyping techniques to explore concepts, validate assumptions, and improve design efficiency.

    • Advocate for customer needs throughout the organization while ensuring design solutions align with strategic priorities and technical architecture.

    • Facilitate design critiques, communicate work and recommendations effectively, and provide mentorship to fellow designers.

    • Partner with engineering teams during implementation, conduct design quality reviews, and ensure the final product reflects the intended user experience.

    • Requirements

      • At least 5 years of professional product design experience, particularly with complex SaaS applications involving multiple user roles and workflows.

      • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visual and interaction design, individual contributions to important design decisions, and the use of research to influence shipped products.

      • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including reusable components, interactive prototyping, and shared design libraries.

      • Practical experience using AI tools to explore design concepts, develop prototypes, or optimize workflows, with examples of measurable improvements to the design process.

      • Demonstrated ability to plan, conduct, and synthesize qualitative user research and usability testing to influence product strategy and roadmaps.

      • Experience collaborating with engineers throughout development, including reviewing builds, conducting design QA, and supporting web and mobile product launches.

      • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions, recommendations, and tradeoffs to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

      • Proven ability to manage and prioritize design initiatives across multiple interconnected product areas.

      • Strategic mindset and ability to connect user experience decisions with broader product goals and customer needs.

      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to transform complex requirements into clear, accessible, and effective experiences.

      • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build productive relationships with product managers, engineers, and design teams.

      • Customer-focused approach, using research, behavioral insights, and feedback to continuously improve digital products.

      • Preferred qualifications:

        • Experience designing Church Management Software (ChMS), giving or fintech solutions, nonprofit technology, or complex administrative platforms.

        • Familiarity with product analytics and behavioral data tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, FullStory, or Pendo.

        • Previous experience as a design lead, mentor, or player-coach within a collaborative product design team.

        • Experience influencing product strategy and contributing to the development of scalable design systems.

        • Additional requirements:

          • Must be based in the United States and legally authorized to work full-time without sponsorship.

          • Must reside in one of the states where employment is currently supported: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MI, MN, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WV.

          • Ability to work remotely with a stable workspace and reliable high-speed internet access.

          • Willingness to travel approximately 1–2 times per year.

          • Benefits

            • Competitive annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $160,000.
