Sales Director.

FULL TIMEREMOTELEADERSHIPSALES & MARKETING

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Director based in the United States.

Take the lead in driving new business growth for a global technology services organization specializing in nearshore software development. As Sales Director, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to negotiations and closing strategic deals. You will engage executive and technical decision-makers, understand their business challenges, and position tailored technology solutions that deliver measurable value. Working closely with marketing, SDRs, account management, and delivery teams, you will help build a scalable and repeatable outbound sales strategy. This role combines hands-on business development with strategic sales leadership in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. You will have the opportunity to shape commercial growth while building lasting relationships with clients across the technology sector.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for generating new business, developing qualified opportunities, and converting prospects into long-term client relationships. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities for software development and technology services.

    • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, and targeted campaigns.

    • Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand client needs and effectively position service offerings.

    • Develop tailored proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

    • Own the complete sales cycle, from initial lead generation and qualification through contract execution.

    • Coordinate with account management and delivery teams to ensure smooth client transitions following successful deals.

    • Maintain accurate pipeline records in Salesforce and provide reliable forecasts, reporting, and performance insights to leadership.

    • Partner with marketing and SDR teams to develop outbound campaigns, refine messaging, and improve lead conversion.

    • Prepare and negotiate Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with contract management.

    • Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and client challenges to continuously improve sales positioning.

    • Help build and refine a repeatable sales playbook for sustainable new customer acquisition.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven sales professional with a strong background in outbound B2B services sales and a proven ability to win new accounts. You should combine strategic thinking with hands-on prospecting, strong negotiation skills, and the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels. Key qualifications include:

      • 5+ years of outbound B2B sales experience, preferably in software development, IT consulting, or nearshore technology services.

      • Demonstrated success acquiring new clients and consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in consultative sales environments.

      • Strong outbound prospecting capabilities and a proven track record of independently generating and developing opportunities.

      • Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing.

      • Ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with executive and technical decision-makers.

      • Experience selling nearshore development resources or services is an advantage.

      • Familiarity with selling data-related projects, services, or technical resources is a plus.

      • Strong networking, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

      • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

      • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.

      • Strong negotiation, time management, and organizational capabilities.

      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

      • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.

      • Benefits

        • 100% remote working arrangement, with the flexibility to work from anywhere.

        • Competitive compensation package in USD.

        • Comprehensive employee benefits plan.

        • Flexible working hours to accommodate individual schedules and priorities.

        • Home office equipment, including the hardware and software needed to perform effectively.

        • Opportunity to collaborate with a diverse, multinational team of highly skilled professionals.

        • Access to professional and personal development opportunities.

        • Dynamic and innovative working environment focused on ambition, continuous improvement, and authentic collaboration.
