Accountabilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain database objects, including tables, stored procedures, functions, and views, to support reporting, analytics, and data integration requirements.

    • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to ensure reliable data access and efficient reporting performance.

    • Develop secure and automated file extraction and delivery processes, including data transfers through SFTP.

    • Build and maintain custom reporting solutions within Epic Hyperspace, including Reporting Workbench, Cogito SQL reports, Radar dashboards, and related Cogito configuration elements.

    • Manage the full reporting development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

    • Develop scalable data structures and dependable ETL processes to support business intelligence and data integration needs.

    • Conduct automated and manual quality assurance testing, support user acceptance testing, and ensure reporting solutions meet defined requirements.

    • Lead working sessions with network members, third-party vendors, and internal teams to understand reporting needs and design appropriate technical solutions.

    • Document technical solutions, development processes, and system procedures to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.

    • Perform additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

    • Requirements:

      • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.

      • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing complex SQL queries and database solutions.

      • Current Epic Clarity Data Model certification is required.

      • At least 3 years of experience developing custom solutions within the Epic Cogito suite is preferred.

      • Strong knowledge of database objects, including tables, stored procedures, functions, and views.

      • Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ETL processes and data integration solutions.

      • Familiarity with Epic Hyperspace reporting tools, including Reporting Workbench, Cogito SQL reports, Radar dashboards, and related components.

      • Ability to manage the full reporting lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, documentation, and ongoing support.

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

      • Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to lead technical discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners.

      • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote home-office environment with reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free workspace.

      • Willingness to undertake nationwide travel when required by business needs.

      • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States. Employment visa sponsorship and transfers are not available.

      • Candidates should be prepared to complete a pass/fail computer literacy assessment and a competency assessment as part of the selection process.

      • Benefits:

        • Annual base salary range of $85,697–$137,116, with the final offer determined by relevant skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market conditions.

        • Comprehensive employee benefits package; specific coverage and plan details are available through the employer's careers website.

        • Fully remote work arrangement, with employees working from home across the United States.

        • Opportunities for professional development and continuous skill growth.

        • Support for work-life balance and employee well-being.

        • Opportunity to contribute to healthcare technology initiatives that improve access and outcomes for rural and medically underserved communities.

        • Potential nationwide travel based on business requirements.
