Job Description: Clinical Case Manager – Oncology Team Bupa Place, Salford Quays / Angel Court, London – hybrid with 2 days in the office Permanent Full time - 37.5 hours per week From £37,800 DOE We try to consider all types of flexibility, including locations, hours and working patterns. How you’ll help us make health happen: Support customers and healthcare providers with treatment authorisations, eligibility queries and benefit explanations. Assess requests against policy terms and ensure customers are directed to the most appropriate treatment pathway. Manage clinically complex cases and provide support to colleagues across the business. Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure all activity complies with data protection and regulatory requirements. Identify potential concerns, incidents or risks and escalate appropriately. Help improve customer outcomes by identifying suitable treatment options and pathways. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and deliver excellent customer service. Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. NMC) as a Registered General Nurse is essential. An oncology background is also essential. Previous clinical case management experience is desirable. The ability to work independently within your scope of practice, using sound judgement and empathy. Strong communication skills – you’ll be comfortable handling sensitive conversations with compassion and clarity. Confidence using multiple systems and tools at once – you’ll be talking and typing at the same time. A calm, resilient approach – especially when supporting vulnerable or anxious customers. A problem-solving mindset – you’ll think analytically to find the best outcomes for our customers. Previous contact centre experience is desirable, but not essential.
