Join us and become one of the people who Make It Possible. Deliver care you can be proud of as a Laboratory Technologist, conducting routine and complex tests on clinical specimens. Perform a variety of automated and manual tests in all lab areas, which include Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis and Microbiology following established procedures and without immediate supervision. May be assigned to a specific section or may rotate in all sections. When the technologist meets NYSDOH supervisory criteria may be assigned to perform “in-charge” responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor. Obtain and receive laboratory specimens, including, blood, urine, and body fluids. Perform and interpret clinical laboratory tests used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease in this clinically dynamic position. This is a per diem position working two shifts per month covering evenings.
