A Day in the Life Specialty Care is a core Medtronic business focused on advancing patient care through innovative therapies and technologies that address complex and chronic conditions. The portfolio partners with healthcare providers, hospital systems, government stakeholders, and clinical experts to expand therapy adoption, improve patient outcomes, and increase access to care across Türkiye. This leadership role is responsible for the overall Specialty Care business in Türkiye, driving commercial performance, market development, organizational leadership, and execution of strategic growth initiatives. The position is based in Istanbul and operates in an onsite leadership environment with travel as required across Türkiye and internationally. As a member of the Türkiye Leadership Team, the Commercial Leader, Specialty Care is responsible for leading the business strategy, commercial execution, and organizational performance of the Specialty Care portfolio across Türkiye. The role requires strong healthcare industry expertise, executive stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate strategy into sustainable growth while expanding patient access to Medtronic therapies. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute the Türkiye Specialty Care strategy to achieve business growth, market development, and patient access objectives Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team, driving accountability, talent development, and succession planning Drive therapy adoption and portfolio growth through customer engagement, clinical partnerships, and strategic market expansion initiatives Build relationships with healthcare leaders, clinicians, hospital executives, government authorities, and reimbursement stakeholders Identify growth opportunities and implement programs that increase market share and expand access to Specialty Care therapies Partner with regional and global teams to align commercial priorities, resource allocation, and portfolio strategies Monitor market dynamics, healthcare policy changes, and competitive activity to inform business decisions and strategic planning Ensure execution excellence across sales, marketing, clinical, and market access activities while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry experience OR Master's degree with 10+ years of healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry experience 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience with responsibility for sales growth and business performance Experience leading cross-functional teams within a matrixed international organization Experience developing and executing commercial strategies within complex healthcare systems Fluency in English. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline Experience leading a Specialty Care, medical technology, or hospital-focused portfolio Knowledge of healthcare policy, reimbursement models, and market access dynamics in Türkiye Track record of strategic account management and executive-level stakeholder engagement Experience delivering growth in emerging, highly regulated, or complex healthcare markets.
