The Role
This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up inside a company that already has the infrastructure, capital, and clinical credibility to back you. As Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Women’s Health, you’ll lead the exploration, validation, and eventual launch of Rugiet’s women’s health brand. You’ll operate with significant autonomy, report directly to the CEO, and have a seat at the table from day one.
This is not a traditional corporate role. It’s for someone who thinks like a founder, operates like a GM, and is energized by the challenge of building a category from scratch.
What You’ll Do
- Lead market research and consumer discovery to define the women’s health opportunity most aligned with Rugiet’s core capabilities
- Develop and pressure-test the brand strategy, product roadmap, and go-to-market approach
- Work closely with Rugiet’s clinical, regulatory, and compounding teams to identify viable treatment categories
- Build financial models and business cases to guide investment decisions
- Source and manage external partners including creative agencies, medical advisors, and technology vendors
- Recruit and help assemble the founding team for the new brand
- Present findings, recommendations, and progress to executive leadership and the board
- Transition into a senior leadership role (e.g., GM or President) upon brand launch, pending mutual agreement
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience, including time at a high-growth startup, DTC brand, or consumer health company
- Demonstrated experience launching a product, brand, or business -- you’ve built something before
- Deep understanding of the women’s health landscape, including consumer behavior, clinical considerations, and regulatory environment
- Strong commercial instincts: you think about unit economics, CAC, LTV, and retention as naturally as you think about brand
- Exceptional communicator who can synthesize ambiguity into clear recommendations
- Scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable operating without a playbook
- Experience in telehealth, compounding pharmacy, or regulated health categories is a strong plus
