Lobox is seeking a highly skilled Database Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality and integrity of our database systems. You will work closely with our development team to understand the database design and functionality in order to create and execute comprehensive test plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for database systems
- Identify and report any defects or issues found during testing
- Collaborate with developers to understand database design and functionality
- Participate in code reviews to ensure database code meets quality standards
- Monitor and analyze database performance to identify areas for improvement
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database issues
- Develop and maintain automated tests for database systems
- Document and communicate test results and provide recommendations for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in database testing and quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles
- Experience with database automation tools such as Selenium or QTP
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
