Value Creation Manager.

FULL TIMEENGINEERING
Building on more than 30 years of business expertise, Objectway is an international wealth, banking and asset management software provider empowering clients to embrace their future challenges while providing great performance today. The Group is a future-proof technology player with a well-established track record in the financial services industry and over €120 million of consolidated revenue. The Group is a global Top 100 fintech provider (IDC ranking), whose clients include 250+ leading Wealth Managers, Banks, Asset Managers, Fund Managers, Insurers and Outsourcers in more than 15 countries. With over 800 professionals operating from Italy, UK, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Canada, the Group serves clients in 4 continents, supporting approximately 100,000 investment professionals to manage more than €1 trillion in assets.

To contribute to its ambitious growth plan, Objectway is looking for a Value Creation Manager for its Milan office.

Role Mission:

Support the Group CEO and C-Suite in developing and executing the Group strategy and Value Creation Plan, with particular focus on strategic transformation, corporate development and M&A, post-acquisition integration, CEO-led initiatives and CEO Office. The Value Creation Manager is expected to move from problem framing and business-case development to mobilization and execution. This is not a pure project-management or advisory role: the Manager takes ownership of issues and stays with them through to delivered value, while maintaining an enterprise-wide perspective and working in close collaboration with senior leadership.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

    Strategy & Value Creation
    • Support the CEO in developing and executing the Group strategy and Value Creation Plan, including strategic
priorities, investment portfolio choices, business cases and strategic analysis.
    • Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, detailed plans, milestones and KPIs, and monitor
      strategic, financial and operational outcomes.
    • Support cross-Group performance improvement and organizational efficiency initiatives, including initiatives
      outside individual M&A programs.
    • Corporate Development & M&A
      • Support the C-Suite on the strategic dimension of M&A, including opportunity screening, investment thesis and
strategic fit, business cases, strategic due diligence, synergy assessment and value creation planning
      • Work alongside Finance, Legal, business executives and external advisors on transaction execution while maintaining ownership of the strategic rationale and post-deal value creation agenda
      • Support post-acquisition integration across organizational, process, technology and cultural dimensions,
coordinating with HR, IT, Finance and relevant business functions across Group geographies.
      • Organization, Transformation & Change
        • Contribute to the Group Organization & Transformation roadmap, including post-M&A integration, CEO Office initiatives, organizational change and process optimization.
        • Design and drive structured change-management plans to support adoption of new operating models, processes and ways of working.
        • Identify cross-functional misalignments and conflicting priorities, facilitate decisions and escalate issues when
          appropriate.
        • CEO & Executive Support
          • Provide strategic decision support to the CEO and Executive Committee through rigorous analysis, business
cases and preparation of major strategic decisions, ExCo and Board topics.
          • Ensure follow-through on key decisions and initiatives, with a focus on decision-making and execution rather
            than administrative support.
          • Prepare concise, decision-oriented program materials and structured reporting for the CEO, Executive
Committee and Organization & Transformation leadership.
          • Cross-functional Orchestration
            • Mobilise the right internal and external capabilities at the right time, coordinating specialist resources and
              external advisors where required.
            • Influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without relying on formal hierarchical authority,
always balancing pace of change with organizational sustainability.
            •

Required Skills:

    • Degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field; an MBA or equivalent executive education is a plus, not a
      strict requirement
    • Excellent strategic and analytical capability, with the ability to frame ambiguous, cross-functional problems and
      build rigorous, decision-useful business cases
    • A genuine motivation to move from an advisory posture to an ownership posture and to be measured on
      outcomes delivered
    • Strong judgement and discretion when working in close, direct proximity to the CEO and Executive Committee.
    • Ability to influence senior executives and mobilise cross-functional teams without formal hierarchical
      authority
    • Resilience and comfort operating with limited structure on the organization’s highest-priority and often most
      ambiguous initiatives
    • Excellent communication skills in English; Italian is a plus given the Group’s Italian roots and management
      team.

Personal profile:

    • Indicatively 6-10 years of experience, with a significant part spent in strategy consulting  or in a Corporate Development/Strategy function within a fast-moving, PE-backed or M&A-intensive environment
    • Direct exposure to M&A, including opportunity screening, due diligence and business-case development;
exposure to post-acquisition integration or value creation tracking is strongly preferred
    • Prior experience in, or strong affinity with, financial services/FinTech is a significant plus, though not a strict
      requirement
    • Evidence of moving beyond pure analysis into delivery or execution - for example, leading a workstream
through implementation - is an important signal for this role.
    •

Contract & Compensation:

  • Permanent employment with remuneration commensurate with seniority and experience.
Salary range: €70.000 - up to €90.000 gross annual salary (RAL).
The actual final compensation package and CCNL level may vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience
  • Ticket restaurant and company welfare.
  • Health care coverage.
  • Hybrid working model.
  • Employee discount programs.
  • Performance bonus for company objectives.
  •
Equality Policy:
We are an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
