Position Overview Role: Business Development Representative (BDR) Location: Singapore Type: Full-time, Permanent Language Requirements: Business fluency in English is required; fluency in an additional regional language is a distinct advantage. Key Responsibilities As a BDR at OutSystems, you are the catalyst for our growth engine across APAC. You aren’t just dialing numbers; you are the first trusted voice introducing technical leaders to a smarter way to build enterprise software. Own Your Outreach: Hunt down high-potential enterprise accounts across APAC through multi-channel prospecting, strategic cold calling, sharp personalized emailing, and social selling (LinkedIn, relevant regional platforms). Spark Strategic Conversations: Engage CIOs, VPs of Engineering, and business leaders in meaningful discovery discussions. You will uncover their digital transformation bottlenecks and connect them to real OutSystems business value. Convert Inbound Curiosity: Act fast on marketing-generated interest, qualifying opportunities with curiosity and precision to turn curiosity into genuine business meetings. Build True Partnership: Collaborate closely with Field Account Executives to build targeted account penetration plays and partner with Regional Marketing to maximize campaign traction. Track the Details: Maintain high hygiene standards across our modern tech stack (Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to keep data actionable and accurate. Champion Continuous Learning: Bring an open mindset to 1-on-1 coaching, team role-plays, and platform training. We celebrate continuous growth and constructive feedback. Qualifications You Run on Grit & Curiosity: B2B prospecting has ups and downs. You treat objections as learning opportunities, rebound quickly, and bring relentless curiosity to why prospects say "yes" or "no." 1–3 Years of Customer/Sales Experience: Prior experience in B2B inside sales, tech SDR/BDR roles, recruitment, or customer-facing roles where you had to influence outcomes. Experience in SaaS is great, but your appetite to master enterprise tech is what matters most. Compelling Communicator: You communicate cleanly, listen actively, and tailor your message to resonate with senior tech executives without falling back on jargon. Collaborative Competitor: You want to blow past your targets, but you also cheer on your peers, share what’s working, and uphold a zero-politics, team-first environment. Tech-Minded: You don’t need to code, but you must be excited to understand how enterprise architecture, low-code, and GenAI solve real business problems. Why Join OutSystems? Career Acceleration: The BDR bench is our premier feeder pool for commercial sales, customer success, and solutions engineering roles. A Culture of Autonomy: We trust you to execute, experiment with messaging, and take ownership of your territory. Global Impact, Tight-Knit Regional Team: Enjoy the resources of a global unicorn paired with the entrepreneurial energy and high visibility of our Singapore hub.
