The Mission

Caylent is seeking a Contracts Administrator who is experienced working cross-functionally with other teams to grow a thriving AWS-based cloud and AI consulting services business. The ideal candidate for this role will thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and own the day-to-day execution of contract work independently. Reporting to the Director of HR (North America) & Legal Operations, the Contracts Administrator will be responsible for assisting the Legal Department with the following:

  • Complete first-pass reviews against playbooks and escalate risks and non-standard terms internally.
  • Maintain contract records, key dates, and obligations in our systems, and keep the repository accurate and current.
  • Support data privacy and compliance work, including DPAs and customer and vendor privacy and security questionnaires.
  • Use AI tools to speed up review, summarization, and drafting, with sound judgement on confidentiality.
  • Meet turnaround targets and manage competing priorities from Sales, Finance, and Delivery.
  • Prepare trackers and status updates, and suggest process improvements.

Your Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in contracts, legal operations, or a similar role, ideally at a high-growth technology company, or 3+ years with strong data privacy and AI experience.
  • Hands-on experience administering and supporting review of commercial, licensing, and other technology-related agreements, with emphasis on MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and DPAs.
  • Proactive, dynamic and result driven individual with strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to interface effectively with all business functions throughout the organization.
  • Enthusiasm and "self-starter" qualities enabling them to manage responsibilities with an appropriate sense of urgency; the ability to function effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced & dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, project coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage internal customer priorities and needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience with data privacy and compliance requirements (for example PIPEDA, GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Hands-on use of AI tools in daily work, such as for contract review, summarization, or drafting.

Benefits

  • 100% remote work
  • Medical Insurance for you and eligible dependents
  • Generous holidays and flexible PTO
  • Competitive phantom equity
  • Paid for exams and certifications
  • Peer bonus awards
  • State of the art laptop and tools
  • Equipment & Office Stipend
  • Individual professional development plan
  • Annual stipend for Learning and Development
  • Work with an amazing worldwide team and in an incredible corporate culture
