We’re looking for an HSQE Training Manager to lead our regional training function and help build a safer, sharper, more capable workforce. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong technical edge. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities Lead the regional HSQE training function, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and delivery of training activity. Manage the HSQE training team, including support for direct reports and day-to-day operational leadership. Oversee competency, licensing, training needs analysis, and training records through the Personal Development Plan (PDP) system and related processes. Partner with operational leaders and managers to identify capability gaps and build practical learning solutions that support performance and compliance. Connect regional delivery with national HSQE priorities, while driving continuous improvement across training systems, standards, and outcomes. Proven ability to lead or coordinate people, programmes, and priorities in a fast-moving setting. Strong knowledge of training needs analysis, competency management, compliance, licensing, and training record requirements. Confident communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills, with a practical and delivery-focused approach. Strong systems capability, including Microsoft Office, training or competency platforms, and ideally experience with PDP or a similar system, plus a full driver licence.
