We are currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our Finance Team for our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, based in Dulwich and reporting to the Finance Manager. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial governance, project reporting, and providing insights for strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced project environment, enjoys partnering with operational teams, and is passionate about delivering accurate, insightful financial analysis. In this role you'll be responsible for: Assist with implementation of business systems, processes and analysis reporting to optimise business performance Maintain and update key financial information across relevant business systems Preparation of monthly reporting financial packs, which includes month end processing, reconciliation and P&L variance analysis Deliver clear financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions, including urgent requests from senior management and project teams Calculate, review and post work in progress adjustments in accordance with accounting standards Support accurate recognition of revenue and costs for ongoing projects Work with project teams to validate billing milestones and support timely invoicing. Resolve billing discrepancies and support credit control activities Ensuring compliance with internal process and statutory requirements. To be successful in this role you will have: Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in an Accounting or Finance discipline, including CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification (or currently working towards it) Well-developed knowledge of finance activities within the construction, infrastructure or engineering industry sectors Strong interpersonal skills and attitude to want to develop and make a positive impact Ability to build strong partnerships across the business and engage with a range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes Strong Excel skills, and attention to detail Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely 2.0 Culture.
