The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $38,000 - $86,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for automated material handling systems at customer sites throughout North America. Work closely with Electrical Installers and Controls Engineers to implement, test, and validate material handling systems. Load emulated PLC programs and perform static functional testing using system documentation and engineering drawings. Complete I/O checkout, device validation, and system verification to ensure equipment readiness. Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving PLCs, field devices, network components, and control systems. Test and validate industrial communication networks, including Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, ProfiBus, AS-i, and CAN. Document testing results and transition validated subsystems to Controls Engineering using established validation procedures. Provide daily and weekly progress updates while supporting successful system startup and commissioning activities. What We Are Looking For: Willingness to travel up to 100% throughout the United States for extended periods. Experience troubleshooting and validating PLCs, field devices, industrial networks, and control systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Strong understanding of I/O checkout, device validation, and commissioning processes. Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in automated systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Safety-focused with the ability to work in various industrial environments, including walking, climbing, and crawling for extended periods.
