Job Description Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants who are interested in joining the Wentworth community for one or two semesters to teach: Site/Civil or Construction Engineering MATLAB/Excel for first-year engineering students Statics / Mechanics Fluid Mechanics/Thermodynamics This will be a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in the Douglas D. Schumann School of Engineering in Spring 2027 and/or Summer 2027, with an opportunity to apply for a full-time Assistant Professor position for Fall 2027. Extension into the summer semester, based on coursework availability and needs, will be considered, alongside evaluation of performance and potential interest. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in the appropriate area of Engineering Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in the appropriate area of Engineering Position Details:  The one-semester salary range for this position is $35,000 to $39,000 which is benchmarked against a competitive set of institutions including institutions from the Boston Metro area and is commensurate with experience.
