Senior Associate, Logistics Support.

ON-SITESENIOR LEVELPEOPLE & OPS$73K–98K/YR

LA28 does not provide relocation assistance for any positions.

If you are based outside the Los Angeles area, we still welcome your application — we value talent from all geographic backgrounds and want to hear from you if you are able to work on-site in LA.

Role Purpose

You will build the records, reports, and shared information that help Logistics prepare for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Reporting to the Head of Customs and Freight Forwarding, you will connect internal functional areas, maintain dependable administrative information, and make department accomplishments visible. This role combines practical office support with statistical reporting, milestone tracking, and professional communication as plans develop. Your contribution will help teammates work from accurate information, understand their commitments, and coordinate their next steps with integrity, excellence, and co-creation.

Key Responsibilities

·       Collaborate with internal functional areas to support Logistics development and connect administrative tasks with shared departmental priorities.

·       Use spreadsheets, word files, and database software to complete assigned tasks and maintain information supporting Logistics milestones.

·       Track Logistics progress against LA28-wide milestones and deliverables, keeping records current to support compliance with agreed commitments.

·       Create and maintain professional social media posts highlighting Logistics department accomplishments and making team progress clear to audiences.

·       Compile and analyze statistical reports, maintain databases, and enter new data accurately so teammates can use dependable information.

Required Competencies

·       Bring 4+ years experience in a previous office support role, contributing dependable administrative support across multiple assignments.

·       Demonstrate experience using Microsoft software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint applications, and Outlook to complete office support tasks.

·       Show experience in capturing and sharing on professional social media sites, presenting departmental accomplishments clearly and professionally.

·       Present and clearly communicate to audiences in public / private settings, with experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment.

·       Work on complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude, exhibiting patience, persistence and attention to detail.

Valued Experience

·       Experience supporting large scale events with complex operational requirements.

·       Experience supporting Olympic/Paralympic Games in an event support capacity.

·       Experience supporting World Cup events through practical administrative contributions.

·       Experience supporting Superbowl events and their associated operational preparations.

What We Offer

·       Contribute visible administrative foundations that help Logistics teammates prepare for the Games.

·       Gain cross-functional exposure through collaboration with internal teams on shared Logistics commitments.

·       Develop transferable reporting and communication skills through practical work with departmental information.

·       Share earned pride in team accomplishments supporting the Olympic and Paralympic mission.

What This Role Means for the Games

Dependable records and clear communication help Logistics turn shared commitments into coordinated preparation. By connecting information, deadlines, and departmental accomplishments, you will support teammates working toward the Olympic and Paralympic Games and make their collective progress easier to understand.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

·       Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.

·       The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.

·       The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.

·       Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
