You'll take ownership of programme operations, build positive relationships with families and school staff, and lead a team that supports children's wellbeing, development, and participation.

Here’s what you’ll be up to

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the sKids programme, ensuring safe, structured, and well-organised operations from set-up through to pack-down.
  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver a positive programme experience where children feel valued, included, and engaged.
  • Support children's learning and development through homework support, skill-building opportunities, and meaningful interactions.
  • Plan and deliver a diverse range of activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, baking, STEM activities, drama, music, and holiday programme experiences.
  • Create a welcoming environment that balances learning, recreation, creativity, and fun.
  • Positively manage behaviour and support tamariki with varying needs using consistent and respectful guidance strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and school staff as the key point of contact for the programme.
  • Lead, coach, and support Programme Assistants, setting clear expectations and maintaining high programme standards.
  • Manage programme administration, resource preparation, compliance requirements, and daily operational responsibilities to ensure sessions run smoothly and successfully.

Perks & Benefits

  • Up to 50% fitness discounts via  our employee Wherefit account!
  • 50% discount on selected sKids programmes, perfect for your own children!
  • Referral bonus of up to $250 for successful team member referrals.
  • Work-life balance with no weekend work and the middle of the day free for your own commitments.
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for wellbeing support.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • A fun, supportive team culture where your contribution is valued and celebrated.
