About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly creative and talented E-commerce Digital Designer to join a growing creative team supporting international e-commerce brands.
This role is suited to someone with a strong creative eye, excellent design skills and the ability to transform product information into visually compelling digital content.
The successful candidate will work on product listings, digital catalogues, product imagery and marketing assets across e-commerce platforms.
We are particularly interested in designers who can think creatively, develop original concepts and produce high-quality work. Direct Amazon US experience is not essential for an exceptional candidate. We are open to individuals with experience across Shopify, eBay, Takealot and other digital retail platforms who have transferable design skills.
Requirements
What you'll bring
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite.
- A portfolio demonstrating digital design, image retouching, and infographic work.
- A strong eye for detail, composition, typography, and image quality.
- Confidence improving and correcting AI-generated imagery.
- Reliable organisation, clear communication, and a collaborative approach.
- A reliable computer capable of running the required design software, internet access, and a suitable remote working setup.
A graphic design background is preferred. Candidates with a strong desktop publishing (DTP) background and relevant design skills will also be considered. Amazon listing design experience is an advantage.
1. E-commerce Product Design
- Create visually appealing product listing images and digital assets.
- Design product infographics highlighting product features and benefits.
- Develop enhanced brand content (EBC/A+ Content) and product detail page graphics.
- Create digital catalogues and promotional materials.
- Ensure designs are visually engaging and commercially effective.
2. Creative Concept Development
- Develop original creative concepts for product marketing.
- Translate product information and brand guidelines into compelling visuals.
- Demonstrate strong visual storytelling and creative problem-solving.
- Suggest new ideas and approaches to improve product presentation.
- Adapt designs to different audiences, brands and product categories.
3. Digital Production & Design Execution
- Prepare and optimise artwork for digital platforms.
- Maintain high standards of layout, typography, image quality and consistency.
- Edit and enhance product imagery where required.
- Ensure all deliverables meet platform specifications and brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines.
4. Collaboration
- Work closely with the creative and e-commerce teams.
- Interpret briefs and translate requirements into creative outputs.
- Receive feedback and make revisions effectively.
- Take ownership of projects and manage deadlines independently.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven professional graphic or digital design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical design ability.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour and visual composition.
- Ability to create engaging product-focused digital content.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
