What a day in the life of an Electrical Assembler at Specialty Vehicles looks like: • Assemble harnesses cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components • Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry • Repair defects • Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits • Final assembly of parts and hardware • Test products to ensure performance to specifications • Report repetitive quality issues Required education, skills, and experience to be successful: • Preferred 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment • Preferred high school diploma or GED • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions • Ability to understand both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry. • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns • Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions • Ability to work in a team environment • Successful completion of the drug and background screening Physical demands of this role: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
