We are looking for a Customer Communications Specialist to join our Institutional Retirement Client Services function. You will help create accurate, accessible communications for Pension Risk Transfer customers, ensuring scheme members receive the right information at the right time.
What you'll be doing:
- Creating and issuing accurate communications for pension scheme members
- Translating complex scheme and benefit information into clear and accessible language
- Coordinating communication activity with internal stakeholders and third-party print providers
- Managing customer and stakeholder enquiries in line with agreed service levels
- Maintaining complete audit trails throughout the communication lifecycle
- Tailoring communications to reflect customer needs, vulnerability and product complexity
- Monitoring feedback and communication effectiveness to identify improvements
- Ensuring communications meet governance, data protection and regulatory requirements
Who we're looking for:
- Practical knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes and how member benefits are administered
- Experience creating accurate written communications for customers or scheme members
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, organise priorities and escalate issues appropriately
- A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering fair customer outcomes
- Understanding of data protection, governance and regulatory requirements
- Confidence working with internal stakeholders and relevant third parties
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
