REMOTELEADERSHIP
BeOne continues to grow at a rapid pace with challenging and exciting opportunities for experienced professionals. When considering candidates, we look for scientific and business professionals who are highly motivated, collaborative, and most importantly, share our passionate interest in fighting cancer. General Description: The Associate Director, Strategy & Operations will report to the Chief of Staff to the North America General Manager and serve as a strategic partner to the North America leadership team, helping advance the organization’s highest-priority business initiatives. This role will combine strategy and business problem-solving with disciplined program management. The individual will work across functions to frame complex business challenges, develop actionable strategies, translate strategic priorities into execution, and drive high-impact initiatives from concept through implementation. The role will establish clear plans, milestones, timelines, budgets, and accountability while synthesizing insights and data into recommendations that accelerate decision-making and business performance. The ideal candidate brings experience in management consulting, strategy, business transformation, program management, or a similar internal strategy and operations role within pharmaceuticals or biotechnology. This individual should be equally comfortable developing an executive-level recommendation, facilitating a leadership working session, and rolling up their sleeves to ensure an initiative is delivered successfully. The role will also contribute to emerging North America capabilities, including digital transformation, omnichannel execution, and AI-enabled ways of working. Essential Functions of the job: Drive the development and execution of key cross-functional commercial and medical projects across North America, establishing clear project plans, milestones, timelines, and accountability frameworks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with the priorities of the North America General Manager and Chief of Staff. Partner with the North America GM Office and functional leaders to identify, structure, and address critical strategic and operational business challenges. Develop strategic frameworks, business cases, executive recommendations, and roadmaps to support leadership decision-making. Translate North America strategic priorities into clear initiatives, workstreams, and measurable outcomes. Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from strategy development through implementation, ensuring alignment, accountability, and execution. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across North America, including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Corporate Affairs, to align projects with organizational goals, maintain momentum, and ensure delivery within scope and budget. Identify interdependencies, barriers, and emerging risks across initiatives and work with stakeholders to develop solutions; monitor business impact and recommend adjustments as priorities or market conditions evolve. Serve as a thought partner to the Chief of Staff, GM Office, and North America leaders on priority business topics. Design and facilitate strategic working sessions that enable leadership teams to solve problems, align around decisions, and accelerate action. Develop clear, concise executive-level presentations and communications that synthesize complex business issues and recommendations. Champion AI enablement across North America commercial and medical functions, identifying and implementing AI-powered tools and workflows that improve productivity, decision-making, and customer engagement, and partnering with relevant teams to scale adoption. Support digital initiatives, including digital channel strategy, omnichannel execution, and emerging promotional technologies to advance the North America commercial and medical agenda. Identify opportunities to improve how the North America organization operates, including new processes, capabilities, and ways of working. Help foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and disciplined execution. Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, economics, finance, marketing, or a related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience. Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, commercial strategy, program management, or a comparable strategy and operations role strongly preferred. Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience required, either directly or through consulting engagements. Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous business problems, conduct analyses, generate insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Demonstrated track record leading complex cross-functional initiatives and managing project plans, milestones, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and risks in a highly matrixed organization. Strong strategic thinking coupled with the ability to move from strategy to execution. Strong executive communication and presentation capabilities, including the ability to synthesize complex issues into concise recommendations for senior leaders. Strong analytical skills and comfort working with qualitative and quantitative information to support decision-making. Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build alignment among diverse stakeholders.
