Pacific Coast Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, attentive, and dependable Sitter to join our team on a full-time basis! We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, is patient and observant, and takes pride in providing a safe and supportive environment for our residents. As a Sitter, you will provide one-on-one observation and companionship to residents who require additional supervision and assistance to maintain their safety and well-being. Position Highlights Pay: $16.90 per hour Full-time opportunity Consistent PM shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Supportive and team-oriented environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives What You'll Do Provide attentive one-on-one observation and supervision of assigned residents. Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. Monitor resident behavior and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff. Provide companionship and engage residents in appropriate conversation and activities. Assist residents with basic needs as directed by nursing staff and within the scope of the position. Follow care instructions and facility safety procedures. Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding resident needs and observations. Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times. Document observations and complete required reports as directed. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous healthcare, caregiving, or sitter experience preferred. Compassionate, patient, and dependable. Strong observation and communication skills. Ability to remain attentive and focused throughout the shift. Professional demeanor and positive attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with nursing staff.
