Too Good To Go

London, UK

Legal Operations Partner.

FULL TIMEREMOTEFINANCE & LEGAL

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

More than 1/3 of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet. 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.

Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value. We have a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 150 million registered users and 200,000 active partners across 20 countries, have together already saved over 500+ million meals from going to waste

In 2023, Too Good To Go was recognised on Fortune's acclaimed 'Change the World' list, named as one of Deloitte's 'Best Managed Companies' and won a coveted 'Cultural Impact Award' at the annual Apple App Store Awards.

Your mission at Too Good to Go…

As our Legal Operations Partner you will be a part of a Global Legal Team which supports over 20 countries. You will be key in raising the bar on how the TGTG Legal delivers its legal support and advice to the business and manages legal and regulatory risks. You will be mandated to build and implement new processes and to support TGTG Legal and the wider TGTG Group on a hyper-growth path with a great mission and supporting our expansion strategy. The Global Legal Team has members in different European countries, Japan, and in the US.

For this role one of your main internal stakeholders is the Legal Team, but you will engage with other key stakeholders around the business including Finance, Tax, InfoSec, Operations, People & Culture and Product.

You should be excited about working in a fast-growing social-impact company and have experience in Legal Operations at technology focused companies. In addition, you will be part of an expanding and supportive Global Legal Team.

This position can be based in either Copenhagen or London

Your role

In this role, you will lead the implementation and roll-out of legal technology solutions and processes across the Global Legal Team, including leveraging Legal AI tools and building automated workflows.

You will lead on the integration and roll-out of a new Legal AI platform being adopted by TGTG.

Lead on migration of CMS to new platform.

You will map work-flows across the Legal Team and have the mandate to build and automate workflows using AI tools.

You will support how the Legal Team tracks budget and outside counsel spend and be a key influencer on which outside counsel we use for specific tasks.

You will lead on measuring key metrics for the team and present these to the team, using a data led approach to improve team performance.

By streamlining how TGTG Legal services the business, you will remove friction from daily workflows and significantly increase the velocity and impact of the Legal Team.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience evaluating, implementing and driving adoption of AI tools and automated workflows, ideally within a legal or other professional services team.

  • Experience gathering and analysing data, developing reports and using insights to improve processes and measure results.

  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into practical workflows and technology requirements, and support implementation through testing, training and ongoing improvement.

  • Understanding of data privacy, confidentiality and responsible use of AI in a business environment.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across Legal, IT, InfoSec, Privacy and other business teams.

  • Ability to work and thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
