Job Description Shift: This is a 12-hour alternating night shift (5:45 PM - 6:00 AM) Scheduled to work 7 days during a 14-day period (2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off). Every other weekend is scheduled off.) Join BD's manufacturing team as a Mold Set-Up Technician and play a key role in keeping our injection molding operations running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for setting up molds and equipment, monitoring production processes, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality products are produced on schedule. Responsibilities Set up molds, injection molding machines, and auxiliary equipment Monitor production processes and make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency Troubleshoot molding defects and support corrective actions Complete production paperwork and process documentation Perform basic preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs Support mold changes, mold maintenance, and process improvements Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, tooling, material handling, and production teams Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment Participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma or GED At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
